Being Brave

Being Brave

With all that life throws us, putting on a brave face can end up being down right exhausting! I think there are a few things that might make being brave a little easier…

1. Go out of your comfort zone and don’t expect it to feel good

Bravery often requires us to go out of our comfort zone- and that rarely feels good! I think we need to get rid of the notion that life is going to be easy and tough decisions will feel comfy. Be ready to step out of your comfort zone and push past the how awful it may feel!

2. Keep practicing

Bravery and courage can actually become like habits- the more you practice it, the more likely it will be your natural response. So keep practicing the brave and courageous responses!

These are not easy things to do. Ask God for his help and guidance daily as you choose to be brave!
